WASHINGTON, DC - On Tuesday, April 16, 2024, American Hellenic Institute President Nick Larigakis and Executive Director Zac Cotronakis met with Stefanos Kasselakis, president of the Greek political party SYRIZA.

The meeting included discussion on recent developments in the Southeast Europe and East Mediterranean regions, along with issues important to the Greek American community.

Also in attendance were Eirini Dourou, Member of Parliament and shadow minister of foreign affairs; Dimitrios Papageorgiou, Diplomatic Advisor to the SYRIZA President; Danai Badogianni, Advisor to the SYRIZA President; Nikolaos Sapountzis, Deputy Chief of Mission for the Embassy of Greece in DC; Konstantinos Ntelikos, Congressional Liaison for the Embassy of Greece in DC; AHI interns Nikos Labrakis, Theodore Papadopoulos, and Evelina Kynigopoulos.
