AHI President Participates in Events for Leaders of Greece, Cyprus in NYC

NEW YORK - American Hellenic Institute President Nick Larigakis participated in events held on the occasion of the UN General Assembly in New York City during the week of September 23, 2024.
President Larigakis represented AHI at a reception with Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic Kyriakos Mitsotakis held at Anassa Taverna on September 24. AHI Board Chairman James H. Lagos, AHI Foundation Chairman Leon Andris, AHI Board Members Kostas Alexakis, Violetta Kapsalis Buhler, and Maria Wills; and AHI Executive Director Zac Cotronakis also attended the reception. Several diaspora organizations participated.
In addition, President Larigakis attended the Federation of Cypriot American Organizations annual testimonial dinner with President of the Republic of Cyprus Nicos Christodoulides in attendance, on September 30.
At the events, President Larigakis shared time briefly with Prime Minister Mitsotakis and President Christodoulides.
