AHI President Larigakis Attends Council on Foreign Relations Mitsotakis Event

Prime Minister of Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Former U.S. Ambassador to Greece Daniel Speckhard at the Council on Foreign Relations.

WASHINGTON, DC — American Hellenic Institute President Nick Larigakis attended the Council on Foreign Relations event “A Conversation With Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis of Greece,” hosted by Daniel Speckhard, former U.S. Ambassador to Greece.

President Larigakis had an opportunity to ask a question to the Prime Minister regarding the next steps of the excellent relationship between the U.S. and Greece.

“I’d like to offer congratulations to the Council on Foreign Relations and Prime Minister Mitsotakis for the phenomenal event,” President Larigakis said. “The United States’ bilateral relationship with Greece is at an all-time high. In any strong relationship, there is always room for improvement, and we look forward to working towards strengthening that alliance, as is in the best interests of the United States.”

The Council on Foreign Relations is an American think tank specializing in U.S. foreign policy and international relations. Founded in 1921, it is an independent and nonpartisan nonprofit organization.
