ACTION ALERT: Call Your Members of Congress to Support Amendment #978 to the NDAA FY25 (H.R. 8070)

WASHINGTON, DC — With the support of AHI, Congressman Dan Goldman (D-NY) has introduced an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act for FY2025 (H.R. 8070) which would require the Director of National Intelligence to submit a report to Congress identifying any NATO country that supports the U.S. designated terrorist organization Hamas.
47 Members of Congress wrote to Secretary of State Antony Blinken last year to raise concerns about indications of Turkey's support of Hamas. Accordingly, the American Hellenic Institute calls on its members and supporters to reach out to their member of the U.S. House of Representatives and tell them to support and cosponsor this legislation to ensure Turkey is held accountable for any support they are providing to Hamas and NATO is insulated from any affiliation with terrorist organizations.
