Greek Ambassador Antonis Alexandridis Visits American Hellenic Institute

WASHINGTON, D.C. — His Excellency Antonis Alexandridis, Ambassador of Greece to the United States, visited the American Hellenic Institute (AHI) at the Hellenic House in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday, March 11.
AHI President and CEO Nick Larigakis welcomed Ambassador Alexandridis for his first visit to the Institute since his appointment to Washington. The ambassador was accompanied by Connie Mourtoupalas, Cultural Attaché at the Embassy of Greece, and Michail Skopelitis, head of the consular section at the Embassy of Greece.
“It’s an honor to welcome Ambassador Alexandridis and his delegation to the Hellenic House. I look forward to working with him in the coming years on issues important to the U.S.–Greece relationship,” Larigakis said.
During the brief meeting, Larigakis and Ambassador Alexandridis discussed AHI’s work within the Greek American community and upcoming events.
