AHI Hosts Delegation of the Hellenic Army

 

Hellenic Army delegation & Greek Embassy attaches with AHI staff in front of Hellenic House

WASHINGTON, DC - The American Hellenic Institute (AHI) hosted Lieutenant General Andreas Koronakis, Deputy Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff (HAGS), at the Hellenic House on October 11th, 2024.

“We were honored to welcome Lt. General Koronakis and the Hellenic army delegation to Hellenic House,” AHI President Nick Larigakis Said. “We had a substantive dialogue concerning many subjects of mutual interest including the continuing upgrade of US Greece relationship, especially the very important area of defense and security cooperation as it relates to the Eastern Mediterranean Region.”

The Hellenic army delegation were joined by representatives of the Greek Embassy Defense Attache’s office, which included Defence Attache Col. Odysseys Papaevagelou and Army Attache LTC Evangelos Zacharis.

In attendance was AHI President Nick Larigakis, AHI Executive Director Zac Cotronakis, and AHI Legislative Director Alexander Christofor.
