AHI President Joins Epiphany Celebrations in Tarpon Springs

TARPON SRPINGS, FL - American Hellenic Institute President Nick Larigakis participated in Epiphany celebrations in Tarpon Springs, Fla., January 6, 2025.

Larigakis accompanied Maira Myrogianni, Secretary General for Greeks Abroad & Public Diplomacy for the Hellenic Foreign Ministry, and His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America, in the procession to the Bayou for the 119th annual Blessing of the Waters and cross dive ceremony.

“It’s an honor to participate at the largest Epiphany celebration in the world,” Larigakis said. “I also appreciated the opportunity to discuss our commitment to strengthening ties with Greece and its diaspora with Secretary General Myrogianni.”

The American Hellenic Institute is an independent non-profit U.S. public policy center and think tank that works to strengthen U.S. relations with Greece and the Republic of Cyprus, and promote issues important to the Greek American community.
