AHI Staff Attends 5th Southeast Europe & East Med Conference

WASHINGTON, DC - On Tuesday, February 13, 2024, AHI President Nick Larigakis, Executive Director Zac Cotronakis, and Legislative Director Alexander Christofor attended the 5th Southeast Europe & East Med conference. Before joining AHI, Alexander previously served as an administrative assistant for the 4th Southeast Europe & East Med conference. Also in attendance were AHI interns Theodore Papadopoulosm and Evelina Kynigopoulos.
The conference featured speakers including Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs Joshua Huck, Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of Energy Resources Geoffrey Pyatt, Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs James O’ Brien, Deputy Assistant Secretary Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs Gabriel Escobar, Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of Energy Resources Kimberly Harrington, U.S. Congressman John Sarbanes (D-MD), U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-MD), U.S. Ambassador to the Hellenic Republic George Tsunis, Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic to the United States Katerina Nassika, Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to the United States Evangelos Savva, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Hellenic Republic Alexandra Papadopoulou, and more.
The conference was organized by the Delphi Economic Forum, Kathimerini, and the Hellenic American Leadership Council.
