AHI Leaders Attend 120th Epiphany Celebration in Tarpon Springs

WASHINGTON, DC — American Hellenic Institute President Nick Larigakis and AHI Foundation Chairman Leon Andris attended the historic 120th annual Epiphany Celebration at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Tarpon Springs, Fla., Jan. 6, 2026.

The event, rooted in Greek Orthodox tradition and widely regarded as the largest Epiphany celebration in the Western Hemisphere, drew thousands of faithful and visitors from across the country.

His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America presided over the Blessing of the Fleet and the Blessing of the Waters. Following the liturgy and procession, young men participated in the traditional cross dive in Spring Bayou.

Larigakis and Andris joined clergy, community leaders, and families in commemorating this milestone event, reaffirming AHI’s commitment to supporting the cultural, spiritual, and civic traditions of the Greek American community.
