Archbishop Elpidophoros Visits Hellenic House, Meets with AHI and AHIF Leadership

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The American Hellenic Institute (AHI) welcomed His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America to the Hellenic House, where he met with AHI President and CEO Nick Larigakis, as well as members of the Boards of Directors of AHI and the American Hellenic Institute Foundation (AHIF), on Saturday, March 21.

During his visit, Archbishop Elpidophoros expressed his appreciation for AHI’s work in advancing and strengthening the relationship between the United States, Greece, and Cyprus.

AHI President and CEO Nick Larigakis greeted His Eminence, stating:

Board members engaged in a discussion on the important role of the Ecumenical Patriarchate and the vital contributions of the Greek American community in advancing Hellenic ideals and supporting regional stability in the Eastern Mediterranean.

On the same day, the Archbishop delivered remarks at the 52nd Anniversary Hellenic Heritage Achievement & National Public Service Awards Dinner at the Capital Hilton in Washington, D.C.
