WASHINGTON - On October 4, 2024, the American Hellenic Institute hosted the ambassador of Greece to the United States, Ekaterini Nassika, for her first official visit to AHI’s headquarters in Washington, D.C.

In attendance was AHI President Nick Larigakis, AHI Executive Director Zac Cotronakis, AHI Legislative Director Alexander Christofor, AHI Board Secretary Kostas Alexakis, Esq., AHI Board Member John Alahouzos, AHI Board Member Maria Wills, AHIF Board Chairman Leon Andris, and First Counselor of the Embassy of Greece in the U.S. Photis Bourloyannis-Tsangaridis. 

The meeting included discussion on recent developments in Southern Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean, along with issues important to the Greek American community.
