AHI Hosts Policy Briefing with Greek, Cypriot Ambassadors on Eastern Mediterranean Affairs

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The American Hellenic Institute (AHI) hosted a breakfast policy briefing featuring Ambassador of Greece to the United States Ekaterini Nassika and Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to the United States Evangelos Savva on March 8, 2025, at the Capital Hilton in Washington, D.C.

The briefing covered key developments in the Eastern Mediterranean and broader region, U.S. relations with Greece and Cyprus, and the role each country plays on the global stage. President Nick Larigakis moderated the discussion, delivering opening remarks and leading an engaging Q&A session with attendees.

“As Greece and Cyprus continue to be dependable allies in the Eastern Mediterranean, it is imperative to foster dialogue on their strategic partnerships with the United States,” President Larigakis said. “This briefing provided valuable insights into the evolving geopolitical landscape and reinforced the importance of strong U.S. relations with both nations.”
