AHI President Larigakis Presents to Greek American Community of Denver

WASHINGTON, D.C. — American Hellenic Institute (AHI) President Nick Larigakis presented to the Greek American community of Denver, Colorado, thanks to an event organized by longtime AHI member Dr. Gregory Papadeas. The presentation was held November 4, 2025, at the Assumption of the Theotokos Metropolis Cathedral of Denver.

President Larigakis presented on developments in U.S. relations with Greece and Cyprus and their impact on the Eastern Mediterranean. He also discussed AHI’s mission and the various programs administered by AHI and the AHI Foundation that support the organization’s policy and educational objectives.

“I sincerely thank Dr. Papadeas for organizing this wonderful event and the Denver Greek American community for their warm welcome and engagement,” Larigakis said. “It was a pleasure to share AHI’s work and discuss the important issues that shape U.S. relations with Greece and Cyprus.”

The event featured a lively exchange with community members, who engaged with President Larigakis on topics of U.S.–Greece–Cyprus relations, regional stability, and AHI’s role in promoting the rule of law and democratic values in the Eastern Mediterranean.

The American Hellenic Institute is a nonprofit Greek American public policy center and think tank that works to strengthen relations between the United States and Greece and Cyprus, and within the Greek American community.
