AHI Hosts Deputy Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff at Hellenic House

WASHINGTON, DC — The American Hellenic Institute (AHI) welcomed Lieutenant General Andreas Koronakis, Deputy Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff (HAGS), and his delegation to Hellenic House on October 14, 2026. Lt. Gen. Koronakis arrived in the United States to attend the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Annual Meeting and Exposition in Washington.

Lt. Gen. Koronakis and his delegation met with AHI President Nick Larigakis and Legislative Assistant Will Martin. Their discussion focused on the U.S.-Greece defense relationship and AHI’s work in Washington advocating for the strategic partnership between the two countries and for stability in the Eastern Mediterranean.
