WASHINGTON - On May 19, 2025, Chief of the Hellenic Air Force General Staff Lieutenant General Dimosthenis Grigoriadis visited the American Hellenic Institute headquarters in Washington, D.C.
In attendance was AHI president Nick Larigakis and AHI legislative director Alexander Christofor. Lieutenant General Grigoriadis was joined by Major General Konstantinos Savva Tzovaras, Brigadier General Efthymios Greventopoulos, Major Ioannis Rachiotis, and Air Attache in Washington Colonel Ioannis Markakis.
Lieutenant General Grigoriadis and the group discussed issues involving U.S. interests in Greece and the Eastern Mediterranean region. included in the discussion was the topic of the 3+1 multilateral cooperation structure between Greece, the Republic of Cyprus, Israel, and the United States.
Following the meeting, a lunch was hosted for Lieutenant General Grigoriadis and the rest of the group, who were joined by AHI board members Leon Andris, Maria Wills, Kostas Alexakis, and Elias Gerasoulis, and AHIF board member John Alahouzos.
