WASHINGTON, D.C. — Daniel Lawton, Deputy Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs, visited the Hellenic House on Wednesday to meet with American Hellenic Institute (AHI) President and CEO Nick Larigakis. Will Martin, Legislative Assistant at AHI, also participated in the meeting.
The meeting reaffirmed the strength of the U.S.–Greece–Cyprus partnership, and both sides discussed current developments in the Eastern Mediterranean. Mr. Larigakis emphasized Greece’s role as a reliable ally and a pillar of stability in the region, as well as the growing strategic importance of Cyprus.
Discussions also underscored a shared commitment to advancing regional security, energy collaboration, and economic ties.
